Op Bali heb ik een kunstwerk gemaakt met de cyanotype techniek. Met deze techniek bestreek ik het canvas in volledige duisternis met cyanotype vloeistof. Met mijn verzameling Balinese bladeren heb ik een mooie compositie gecreëerd en het een tijd in direct zonlicht laten staan. Hierdoor ontstaat een negatieve afdruk op het canvas. Vergelijkbaar met hoe oude foto’s uit film werden ontwikkeld.

In Bali I made a work of art with the cyanotype technique. With this technique I covered the canvas in complete darkness with cyanotype liquid. With my collection of Balinese leaves I created a beautiful composition and left it in direct sunlight for a while. This creates a negative print on the canvas. A bit like how old photos were developed from film.
